Global Focus
Global Focus is Biltmore’s strategy for reaching the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. We are an Acts 1:8 church- …and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
What is Global Focus?
Global Focus is an ongoing effort to carry the Gospel from across the street to around the world. We categorized the Asheville-Hendersonville area as our local community; Western North Carolina and its mountains are our regional community; The United States of America as our national community; and The World as our international community. We relate them as follows:
Asheville-Hendersonville= Jerusalem
Western North Carolina= Judea
The United States of America= Samaria
The World= Ends of the Earth
Many families and individuals in the Biltmore Baptist Family, in response to the Holy Spirit’s moving have left their jobs, practices and lives here and relocated to various places around the globe. Some have gone on short-term mission trips, some for multiple weeks recently in response to disaster relief in hurricane-hit areas. Others have stepped up to the plate and helped here in the mountains to spread God’s love through countless opportunities.
