MOPS
(Mothers of Preschoolers)
 Mothering changes everything. Your heart swells with a love for your children, greater than you ever could have imagined. And yet, you’re sometimes frustrated when you don’t handle motherhood the way you would like to.
We are a group of moms with children from infancy through kindergarten who support one another is this journey we call motherhood. MOPS exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
MOPS is a place where moms come together to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges of raising preschoolers. You can come, just as you are, to be refreshed and inspired. You’ll make new friends and discover smart approaches to tackling the challenges of motherhood.

1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month
9:30-11:30 a.m. OR 6:15-7:45 p.m.

What does MOPS cost?
$25: This one-time payment covers each mother's registration with MOPS International. Scholarships are available, please contact a Coordinator>> if interested. Childcare>> is provided for preschool age children birth through 5 years (see below).
What about Childcare?
Kidcare is available for the morning MOPS for children birth through 5 years. For evening MOPS, the church offers AWANA for children through 5th grade.
What is KidCare?
This is our children’s program, which takes place during MOPS. It is provided for preschool age children birth through 5 years. Classes are set up by birthdates and developmental stages. Teachers plan activities for the children based on the age and developmental stage of their class. Our goal is to create a class that will grow together through the year. If you feel that your child is in the wrong place, please contact someone at the Praise Island Welcome Desk and we will help you find the right class.
