Defending the Forgotten

Defending the Forgotten is a ministry of Biltmore Baptist Church that is committed to being a voice for the orphan. One of the most devastating issues of our day is the fact that 143 million children around the world are growing up without a family. We desire to uplift these children by bringing the light of Christ into their darkness.  

Our purpose is:

• To bring awareness of the plight of the orphan and God’s heart for them.
• To motivate the body of Christ to live out the biblical mandate to care for the  orphan.
• To give support to those who have answered the call to adopt or foster parent.  
• To provide opportunities for Biltmore Baptist members to minister to    orphans.
