Disaster Relief
The motivation behind Biltmore’s Disaster Relief efforts can be identified in biblical accounts of Jesus’ teaching and healing -- His feeding the multitudes, the parable of the Good Samaritan, and His urging us to minister to others in a variety of ways (Matthew 25:32-46).
The purpose of the Biltmore Baptist’s Disaster Relief Ministry is to relieve human suffering caused by natural disasters by showing Christian love and meeting urgent spiritual, emotional and physical needs of hurting humanity in a crisis. In cooperation with the North Carolina Baptist Men’s organization, our ministry provides the opportunity for Biltmore church volunteers to respond to provide for the basic needs (spiritual and physical) of hurting victims of disasters of any kind.
