The Deacon Ministry of Biltmore Baptist Church consists of a group of men that have been called to serve the Body of Christ. Our deacons are spiritual leaders in the life of our church who have made themselves available to function and work through one of three different ministry teams under the leadership of:

BBC Deacons coordinate with the staff to fully utilize deacon involvement in prayer through Power Point, God's 1300 Prayer Ministry, healing, prayer chain or any other special needs. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16

BBC Deacons coordinate with staff to insure ministry takes place to those not able to attend church. This includes hospital visits, shut-in visits, bereavement visits. Each deacon is assigned to an adult or youth Bible Fellowship Group and keeps track of the members assigned to them in that group

BBC Deacons coordinate with staff to assist members who need assistance at home with tasks they are unable to do. This would include cutting grass for someone with an extended illness, paint or fix up a home for a needy member.
