Mature Adults Reaching People - MARP
The Mature Adult Ministry of Biltmore Baptist Church exists to support adults 60 and older as they magnify Christ by developing meaningful relationships and assisting to strengthen the church in service. With more people living longer and healthier lives, older adults play an important, if not pivotal, role in helping to shape the faith and character of future generations.
Older adults provide leadership, presence, gifts and service in our congregation and communities. Many are engaged in volunteer services in and beyond the church walls and participate in short-term mission projects. We provide communities with more than tradition; we offer ourselves, our faith, wisdom and experience for the benefit of God's kingdom here on earth.
We are encouragers for the younger generations in their faith journey. It’s not simply a dream, but an ongoing reality that is taking place at Biltmore Baptist Church. Spiritually mature older adults are not only growing in our faith, but we are helping to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our neighborhoods, church, city, county, state and our world.
