Encouraging women to grow in a personal relationship with the Lord
Finding balance in your everyday life is a challenge; from family commitments to personal relationships, we often find ourselves being stretched-thin, offering only our leftovers to God. We have become so well adjusted to our culture that we fit in without even thinking. Instead, lets fix our attention on God and be radically changed from the inside-out. Let's recommit ourselves to a personal relationship with the Lord and encourage women to grow through prayer, Bible study, fellowship and sharing life with others as He leads.
Getting involved with the Women's Ministry
Women's Bible Study
Our women's enrichment program meets seasonally (there's a spring semester and a fall semester). This incredible women’s gathering meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. It's designed to give you (whether you're married or single) the tools, training, and encouragement needed to become all that God intends you to be. Every week consists of worship, a speaker, and breakout sessions with relevant topics, and great fellowship.

Sacred Secrets by Beth Moore
The world is obsessed with telling secrets for the sake of sensationalism. But not all hidden things are poisonous and dark. Sacred Secrets is the new 6-session study from Beth Moore that explores secrets: some forgiven, some covered, and some just between you and God. Find out what happens when we let God teach us “wisdom in the secret heart” (Psalm 51:6, ESV). “Get tickled with Jesus” as you and Beth explore. Cost: $8.50 (Materials available in The Bookstore).
MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS is a place where moms come together to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges of raising preschoolers. You can come, just as you are, to be refreshed and inspired. You’ll make new friends and discover smart approaches to tackling the challenges of motherhood. MOPS meets the first and third Wednesdays each month, and follows the Buncombe County School calendar for holidays & inclement weather closings. Held at 9:30am in Room A806 from September 4, 2013-May 7, 2014.
