Vision:
The vision of Biltmore Baptist Church is grounded in what is commonly known as “The Great Commission” found in Matthew 28:18-20: And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” The obvious focus is on making “disciples” of the Lord Jesus Christ. The basic characteristics of a disciple center around 1) walking with/worshipping Christ; 2) living in community with others; 3) ministering to both the Church and the world.
Purpose:
Reach Up Through Worship>> Seeking only to glorify and honor God, our worship services are biblically- grounded and culturally relevant. Our goal is to provide a worship setting and experience that provides the worshipper with a life-changing, dynamic experience with the living God.
Reach In Through Small Groups>> We are created to socialize; we all have a need to connect with others. Our Connect Groups provide a place where you can do just that, where you can get to know others who are in the same life stage and who share other commonalities with you. Our Connect Groups meet weekly to teach relevant lessons from God’s Word, as well as provide opportunities for social events throughout the year.
Reach Out Through Service The natural progression of a disciple is to put action to his/her beliefs, not only by winning others to Christ, but also by serving others the local church.
The foundation for our efforts to Reach Up, Reach In and Reach Out is prayer>>.
