We invite you to join us! In preparation for the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors’ Conference you are invited to join us for 40 Days of Prayer. Prayer that provides the foundation, covering and protection for the Conference - from beginning to end. Preparing hearts for a time of worship when God’s glory will be on display, and lives will be changed and hearts encouraged.

God’s glory to be revealed throughout the planning, the implementation, and the Conference; and at the conclusion may it be said: Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man - Psalm 66:5. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to place a hedge of protection around every aspect of the planning and completion of the Conference, as well as the leaders, speakers, and people attending. Lord, show us Your glory!

The Leadership Team to be sensitive to God’s leading as they balance ministry and family during the many hours of planning.Lord, show us Your glory!

Unity and harmony – and good health – for all involved as plans are put in place. Lord, show us Your glory!

A sufficient number of volunteers with joyful hearts and winsome smiles to serve in all capacities. Lord, show us Your glory!

Pastors across the Southern Baptist Convention to have a desire - and be encouraged  – to attend the Conference, and for churches to be willing to send them. Lord, show us Your glory!

Wisdom and attention to detail as travel arrangements and hotel reservations are made, and for all the plans to go smoothly. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to protect and guide the Technical Team, and allow all the technology to function properly. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to guide as all the logistics of the plans and people are put together. Lord, show us Your glory!

The health and well-being of speakers and their families, as they prepare for the Conference. Lord, show us Your glory!

The wise use of all available financial and equipment resources. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to provide for all the technology needs leading up to and during the Conference. Lord, show us Your glory!

A standard of excellence to be on display in all aspects of planning and implementation. Lord, show us Your glory!

An abundance of Sponsors (vendors) as plans are initiated and completed. Lord, show us Your glory!

Cooperation, unity and harmony among all the agencies working together to plan and carry out all the arrangements for the Conference. Lord, show us Your glory!

All the safety procedures and requirements put in place to flow smoothly and without incident. Lord, show us Your glory!

The Pastors’ Conference to be used as a springboard to encourage churches/pastors to align themselves with God’s will for their ministry areas. Lord, show us Your glory!

Pastors to hear the Word of God and be unashamed to preach the truth of the Gospel with boldness and clarity, and without fear. Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16. Lord, show us Your glory!

God’s Word to impact hearts and minds in a way that encourages people to engage the culture. Matthew 5:13-14. Lord, show us Your glory!

The speakers to have a heart like Jesus as they prepare messages. Matthew 9:36. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to re-energize the hearts of pastors, and give them the desires of their hearts as they delight in Him. Psalm 37:4. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to reveal His vision to pastors seeking His face; and churches ready to follow the vision God gives through their pastor. Lord, show us Your glory!

Speakers and leaders to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and that their hearts will overflow with love and compassion for others. Lord, show us Your glory!

Pastors and churches to be encouraged, and that they will have a hunger and desire to do whatever it takes to reach the lost and un-churched. Lord, show us Your glory!

Sponsors and pastors to connect in their areas of need so that God’s work will be carried out effectively and creatively to reach more people. Lord, show us Your glory!

God’s protection over the “behind the scenes” people, and to keep them healthy, energetic, positive and spiritually sensitive. Lord, show us Your glory!

True worship to be experienced, and for God’s glory to break through the barriers of traditions. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to reveal Himself through the Word, through prayer, and through worship. Lord, show us Your glory!

Safety in travels to and from, and during the Conference for all participants, as well as family members left at home. Lord, show us Your glory!

The speakers to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, and share from the overflow of their hearts, as they speak with clarity and boldness. Lord, show us Your glory!

The speakers and leaders to be filled with joy and peace as they trust in You. Lord, show us Your glory!

A shield of protection around pastors and their families as they balance ministry and family, and follow God’s call. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to change the hearts of people where needed, and to raise up Godly, strong leaders in churches to support their pastors through prayer, encouragement, and follow-ship. Romans 1:12. Lord, show us Your glory!

A great spirit of conviction and repentance to fall where God’s Word is spoken. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to give pastors a heart for the lost in their sphere of influence, and a vision for ways to reach their region for Christ. Lord, show us Your glory!

The messages to fall on fertile soil, and hearts and minds receptive to new methods of reaching the lost. Lord, show us Your glory!

Churches across the SBC to be strong in their commitment, and to have a heart like Jesus and be willing to engage the culture with love and compassion. Lord, show us Your glory!

God’s provision and protection over attendees’ family members that remain at home during the Conference. Lord, show us Your glory!

God to prepare the hearts of the people for all He wants to do in and through them during the Conference. Lord, show us Your glory!

Freedom from distractions for speakers, worship teams, attendees, and volunteers – for God’s glory to be revealed. Lord, show us Your glory!
